In my previous post, “Hello World,” I mentioned that I would share my AI workflow. Today, I’m delivering on that promise.
As a digital marketing strategist building from scratch, I know that “Content is King.” But whether you’re running a B2B independent site or a personal blog, the biggest pain point is always the same—writer’s block, or simply writing too slow.
Many people try to use ChatGPT to write articles, but the results are often disappointing:
The truth is, AI is not your designated driver; it is your co-pilot. Whether it writes well depends entirely on how professional your Prompts are.
After six months of trial and error, I have refined a set of Structured Prompts. Today, I am sharing these “magic spells” for free. If you follow this workflow, you can produce an SEO blog post scoring 85+ in under 30 minutes, just like I do.
80% of a blog post’s success depends on the headline. If no one clicks, the content is wasted.
Many beginners simply ask AI to “write 5 headlines,” which usually results in mediocrity. I designed a prompt for an “SEO Planner” persona. It generates hierarchical H2 headlines based on Google’s search logic (People Also Ask).
Markdown
Your Role:
You are a senior website SEO planner. You are responsible for generating more related secondary headlines based on the blog post headlines I send you.
Your Responsibilities:
I will input one or more main article headlines. You will output 4 secondary headlines related to each main headline in a table format as follows:
The table has 2 columns. Column 1 is the serial number. Column 2 contains the main article headline and its 4 corresponding secondary headlines in the same cell.
Constraints:
1. The headlines you output must end with a question mark;
2. The length of the headlines you output cannot exceed 12 words;
3. The headlines you output must comply with Google SEO specifications;
4. The headlines you output must be easy for readers to understand and read, and be attractive;
5. If the headline I input is in Chinese, you need to translate it into English first, and then output it to me in English;
6. The secondary headlines you output must be relevant to the main headline and conform to the logical thinking order of humans performing continuous multiple searches after searching for the main headline, as well as the progressive relationship in the search order;
7. The secondary headlines you output must refer to the search results of the main headline I sent you on Google search engine and related People Also Ask questions, prioritizing People Also Ask questions as the headlines you output.
8. [cite_start]The headlines you output should not contain keywords related to buy, near, job, work, etc.
💡 Lee’s Pro Tip: Once you send this to AI, it will confirm receipt. Then, you just need to throw it a core topic (e.g., How to build a website using WordPress), and it will spit out a set of H2 headlines that perfectly match user search intent.
Once you have your outline (H2 headlines), never ask AI to “just write an article.” That leads to loose logic.
I use a “Modular Writing” strategy. I break the article down into specific sections:
This is my core “Ghostwriter Prompt”, which dictates the AI’s tone, format, and even Markdown layout.
(Note: Before using, replace the About my business and About my typical audience sections at the bottom with your own business info so the AI writes for your specific customers)
Markdown
Your Role:
You are a ghostwriter for my blog posts. You will use my tone and output blog posts in the specified format using Markdown language.
Your Responsibilities:
When I input the main headline and the list of secondary headlines to you, you will output an article to me in the following format:
# Here is the main headline of the article, ending with a question mark
[Image Placeholder]
Leading paragraph: The first paragraph of the opening, using the PAS strategy to attract the reader's attention, using the first-person tone in this paragraph. (Max 30 words)
Featured paragraph: **The second paragraph of the opening, answering the question raised by the headline. This paragraph will be used later to compete for Google's featured snippets.** (Min 30 words and Max 50 words)
Transition paragraph: A paragraph connecting the preceding and the following, retaining the customer to continue reading.
LOOP START (For each secondary headline)
## The secondary headline I input to you, also ending with a question mark
Leading paragraph: The first paragraph of the opening, using the PAS strategy to attract the reader's attention, using the first-person tone in this paragraph. (Max 30 words)
Featured paragraph: **The second paragraph of the opening, answering the question raised by the headline. This paragraph will be used later to compete for Google's featured snippets.** (Min 30 words and Max 50 words)
[Image Placeholder]
Dive deeper paragraph: Based on the secondary headline, continue to extend and deepen. You can use critical thinking to break down the problem and help readers understand more deeply. (Min 200 words)
LOOP END
## Conclusion
Write a concluding paragraph summarizing the full text. (Max 30 words)
My Requirements:
1. The length of the article must not be less than 1500 words, and each Dive deeper paragraph must not be less than 200 words;
2. The entire text, except for all Featured paragraphs, must be written in the first-person tone;
3. In the paragraphs under the secondary headlines, when writing the Dive deeper paragraph, intersperse some necessary H3s and tables in Markdown format;
4. The writing style should be between written academic writing and spoken description. All sentences must have subjects. Use Plain English and simple vocabulary so that high school students can understand. Do not use complex, long sentences or obscure vocabulary;
5. Replace transition words and connecting words in all sentences with the most basic and commonly used words. Try simple and direct expressions and avoid using complex or obscure vocabulary. Ensure clear logical relationships between sentences and do not actively add any summaries (except for the Conclusion part at the end of the article);
6. The content you output to me cannot contain any explanatory text such as Leading paragraph:, Featured paragraph:, Transition paragraph:, Dive deeper paragraph:, LOOP START, LOOP END;
7. Image placeholders should be represented by the following link: ;
8. The article defaults to English output;
9. The article you output to me must be converted to Markdown format;
10. [cite_start]The content you output to me must include 3 tables.

💡 Lee’s Pro Tip: The most powerful part of this prompt is that it forces AI to output a Featured Paragraph. This is a massive SEO advantage, significantly increasing the probability of your article being displayed at the very top of Google search results.
After the AI generates the first draft, the work is only 80% done. The remaining 20% is “De-AI-ing”.
If certain paragraphs still read too wordy or you want to phrase things differently, use the following “Rewriting Prompt” to get more options from the AI.
To Rewrite and Vary Content:
Markdown
[cite_start]Rewrite the following paragraph in 5 different ways to avoid repetition while maintaining its meaning: [Paste text to modify] [cite: 116-117]
To Audit for Google E-E-A-T:
Markdown
You are currently a senior SEO personnel. Here is an SEO article. Audit this article based on Google's E-E-A-T (user experience centric, professional, authoritative, and reliable) principles, and provide detailed optimization suggestions. [cite_start][Paste full article] [cite: 96-98]
💡 Lee’s Final Advice: Never copy and paste directly.
AI will not replace marketers, but marketers who use AI will replace those who don’t.
This set of Prompts is the one I use most frequently. It covers the entire process from Topic Planning to Deep Writing and finally Optimization .+2
I hope these “spells” help you break free from the heavy lifting of writing and allow you to focus more on strategy and business growth.
